The Desjardins Ontario Credit Union is proud to support the Forget For A Moment Fondation. Their JASMA Healthcare Planters project was selected in the 2025 call for projects of the Working together on local projects program. Thanks to the Community Development Fund, a donation was made towards the purchase of 12 planters, which will be donated to long-term care centres and seniors' residences in the regions of northern and southern Ontario.

The Forget For A Moment Foundation proudly partners with Root in Nature™, an organization whose mission is to strengthen human health through therapeutic horticulture. After receiving a JASMA Healthcare Planter, Root in Nature offers discounted access to their Intro to Therapeutic Horticulture Course, which teaches how to facilitate, adapt and evaluate therapeutic horticulture sessions while providing foundational horticulture and safety training. Membership to Root in Nature's GrowTH Network provides ongoing resources, activities and support to staff who are working with the JASMA Healthcare Planter. Our partnership aims to bring the restorative power of therapeutic horticulture into healthcare settings, promoting wellness and healing.

Funding for the ongoing maintenance of the Foundations’s projects comes from donations and purchases of prayer cards depicting the sculpture entitled “Virgin breastfeeding the Infant Jesus – Homage to Motherhood.”
Over a period of five years, the Founder and Emeritus President of our organization, Jeannine Lafrenière, conceived and executed a project for the benefit of young people. The outcome was the original sculpture above and prayer cards depicting this work of art.
